The Church of Jesus Christ - Apostolic

The Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic follows a rich tradition with worship services filled with powerful praise, singing, and the anointed Word of God.  Our services will change your life and you will see people from all different backgrounds and cultures and involved in our activities. Our desire is to teach and show what it means to walk daily as a Christian, to have a firm foundation in the Word of God and, ultimately, understand that we are sent out to the world as disciples of Jesus Christ.

When You First Enter

If you’ve never been to The Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic on 36 Street, you’ll find that we have our own parking lots, one on each side of the church.  There is also a Charlotte City bus stop right in front of our church.  When you come into the vestibule, you will be greeted and welcomed and given information about completing a visitor’s card, if you wish to do so.  If you have children, you will be given information about their Sunday School classrooms.

The Church IS Open

While the ultimate goal is to return to a full schedule of ministries and events, and we will eventually get there, at this time we are having service in the Sanctuary only. 

We are working hard to make church as safe as possible for our families.

Here are the precautions we are taking at this time:

  • Hand sanitizers have been placed in the vestibule and in the sanctuary.
  • Face masks are recommended (bring your own.  We may have a few on hand).
  • Appropriate seating distances have been marked. 
  • Please maintain social distancing inside the building.
  • Hymn books have been removed.
  • There are no children’s services at this time.
  • The building has been professionally cleaned and sanitized.
  • Water fountains are covered.
  • Door handles, microphones, bathrooms, etc. are cleaned after each service.
  • As always, please do not come into the church building if you are sick, have been around someone who is sick, or are waiting for results from being tested for COVID19. 

Please know that we are acting out of an abundance of caution because of an abundance of love for each of you as you are a vital part of this church family.

Lastly, offering online services will be in place from now on. So, if you are in anyway prohibited from attending in person, services will be live on Facebook, and soon on YouTube and on our very own church website.  Please pray for us as we are working on these avenues to present the Word of God to the world.
